Eng. Kamel El Bassiouny
CEO and Managing Director of TEA Computers has more than 40-years’ experience in information technology and engineering.
He is an accomplished manager with a proven track record of delivering innovative performance that fully supports corporate growth objectives.
His experience covers a wide range of areas ; from technical roles to strategic operational, business development and managerial positions in various organizations.
Kamel started his career with our sister company Engineering Consultants Group (ECG) as a mechanical engineer. He rose in ranks till he was appointed IT manager in 1989 responsible for all ECG information and engineering facilities.
In 1992, he joined TEA Computers as Engineering & Technical Solutions Marketing Manager. Over the next nine years through his vision and strategic planning the division’s customer base and market share grew tremendously.
Seeking new growth opportunities Kamel joined Youssef Allah & Company as Marketing Manager in 2001. He followed this with a six year tenture as Heliopolis Sporting Club (HSC) General Manager.
In 2010 , he rejoined ECG as VP and Head of Corporate Affairs and was later appointed as CEO Consultant to the late Amr Allouba , Chairman and CEO of TEA Computers.
Kamel Bassiouny graduated in 1978 from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University,Mechanical Engineering. He earned a MS in Mechanical Engineering from University of South Carolina, USA, 1982.
